Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Peachtree Childtown consists of 19 highly trained and experienced professionals who are individuals with a commitment to child development. Directors include two lawyers, a medical doctor, a school principal, an early childhood education administrator of comprehensive area services, a news and TV executive, a Director of Public Service Broadcasting, High Level Business Administration, and a Financial Planner and Investor, as well as the Minister of Childtown and Youth for Peachtree Christian Church, the Senior Pastor of Peachtree Christian Church, and representative parents of children currently enrolled in Childtown.

The Director of Childtown, who is a functioning member of the Board, is a licensed psychologist and an ordained minister.

The Board meets bi-monthly to review all financial matters, review the formal report of the Director, and vote on policies and procedures. The Board Members brainstorm ways to continually implement new programs and activities to enhance the environment for the children enrolled at the center. Board Members members actively participate in celebrations of Childtown.
