Calendar

Childtown enjoys planning and having special events that include staff, parents, all enrolled children including babies, grandparents, brothers and sisters, Childtown Board Members, and Peachtree Christian Church Volunteers and Staff.

A Fall Festival begins the annual celebrations, a Thanksgiving Feast follows, and then a Holiday Celebration with children presenting songs and dramas comes in December. A Spring “End of the Year Celebration” with an annual Silent Auction Fund Raiser, and sharing of songs and activities by the children is held in May. Summer is the time for “Summer Camp,” a busy, outside time of sporting activities, water-play, picnics, and playing in the “green space.” Parents are encouraged to join in the activities.

Throughout the year small classroom parties and special visiting times are scheduled so that parents, children, and teachers can share together.

• Friday, April 6: Good Friday Holiday
• Wednesday, July 4: Independence Day
• Monday, September 3: Labor Day
• Thursday, November 22: Thanksgiving
• Friday, November 23: Day after Thanksgiving
• Monday, December 24: Christmas Eve
• Tuesday, December 25: Christmas Day
• Wednesday, December 26: Holiday

Two In-Service Training Days for staff will be scheduled at a later time.
