Tuition and Fees

Our $100 application fee is nonrefundable. Once you apply, your child’s name is placed on our waiting list to be considered when openings occur in the appropriate age group. Application does not guarantee admission.

Tuition is payable monthly by the 1st day of the month. The fee is based on weekly operating expenses averaged out over the 12 month year. A late charge of $25 is applied to your account if tuition is paid after the 5th.

Tuition includes supplies, music, two meals (formula for infants), and three snacks. Tuition is subject to change with adequate notice to parents. Parents provide all personal items: diapers, wipes, blankets, clothing, sunscreen, diaper cream, and special foods for restricted diets.

The Center is open year round. Holiday closings are available on the website. They include New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday following Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Two other staff work days are identified during each school term. We close for inclement weather when either DeKalb County or Atlanta Public Schools are closed. Because we maintain a year round staff and incur year round expenses, we cannot discount tuition for days missed because of illness or family vacations.

Childtown opens for children at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 6:30 p.m. Teachers ask that parents not drop off during afternoon nap. Parents are expected to arrive at the center by or before 6:15 p.m. to allow time to communicate with the caregiver, pick up any needed information, and check for supplies needed the next day so that teachers can leave by 6:30. The charge for late pick-up is $5 for the first 5 minutes and $5 for each minute thereafter.
